Methods for the trademark registration
National Registration: If you want to register your trademark in one country, then you can apply for a national registration at the local trademark office.
Procedure for the trademark registration: The process of application consists of a formal examination, an examination of uniqueness and a search for preceding trademarks. It takes around 12-14 months from first filing to registration. Before registration the trademark application is published in the official gazette of the Government (“Um-Al Qura”). The resistance time is 90 days from the publication date of the application.
Duration for the trademark registration: Trademark registration in Saudi Arabia is valid for 10 years. This Registration is renewable for periods of 10 years.
Requirements for the trademark registration:
•    A PoA signed by the candidate (PoA will be provide), notarization is required.
•    Photocopy of the Certificate of Incorporation or Business Registration Certificate or anything of which shows the name and address of the candidate.
•    A soft copy of the trademark.
•    A detailed list of products or services to be covered in the candidates.
